For Companies & Organizations

14742205_mnewBusiness statistics show that less than one-third pass successfully to a second generation, often the result of insufficient planning and blurred borders between the three over-lapping realms that comprise the “Family Business System”—the family system, the ownership system, and the business system. If any of these systems are in distress the business will suffer.

Some common pitfalls of family-owned businesses include: unresolved conflicts; poor lines of communication; leaders and the company not being in alignment; lack of a succession plan; inadequate strategic planning; missing accountability; and unclear roles and responsibilities.

T he Da Vinci Method’s ® multi-system approach utilizes a left- and right-brain approach that is necessary for discovering and implementing innovative and growth-oriented solutions that align people and activities to the company’s purpose, mission, and vision.

70% of change efforts fail or do not bring about the desired outcomes in behavior, mindsets or culture [McKinsey Quarterly, 2010].

What would it mean to your company’s bottom-line if you could improve the success rate of your projects by 50%…75%…or 100%?

What if you cold solve your biggest problems AND seize your biggest opportunities in 1/3 of the time, with 25% the effort, and with total stakeholder buy-in?

Seem impossible!? It would have been before the emergence of a innovative management science that has produced those results for some of the world’s largest companies, governments and organizations.

If your company is known for being a thought and innovation leader with a commitment to excellence, please take a few minutes to learn more about “Alignment Optimization” by going to the tab on the home page.

Why measure and manage organizational culture?

Research shows a powerful effect on the performance and long-term effectiveness of organizations. The impact on individuals (employee morale, commitment, productivity, physical health, and emotional well-being) is also well documented. The world is changing rapidly, organizations have to adapt to survive and succeed.

Signals that indicate cultural problems exist include: working at “110%,” low productivity, new competition, complaining customers, absenteeism, turnover, and so on. Sustainable change is possible when executives and employees change their working culture and behavior and thus their results.

Da Vinci employs a proven process to assess six key cultural factors that contrast the current culture relative to the culture that will unleash your organization’s full potential. Then, we guide companies through the change process to achieve sustainable, growth-oriented outcomes.

Many factors account for the success of a business. However, few are more important than “the leadership process,” which is the way in which an organization’s top staff or managers work together to achieve business results.

Do they have a common vision of the future and strategy to achieve that vision? How do they set goals and define priorities? How clear are their values? Do they “walk the talk?” Do they trust each other? Collaborate cross-functionally? How do they communicate? Are they able to talk about sensitive topics? How do they make decisions? Hold one another accountable? Balance daily urgencies against the long-term development of the organization? Work out inevitable conflicts and competing priorities?

At Da Vinci, we believe that “the leadership process” is a critical driver of an organization’s ability to meet the demands of the business environment, execute their business strategy, build a culture of engaged employees, and succeed long-term.

We guide teams through a process of defining and improving their charter (mission, values, goals/metrics, etc.), design (how they organize themselves to accomplish their work), and relationships (their respect, trust, cohesion and synergy) so they can become a cohesive team with a common focus, able to rally people behind them, and achieve outstanding business results.

Synergy doesn’t just happen by chance. It takes the right mix of instinctive talents in the right roles. Da Vinci identifies this formula for success with an extraordinary level of accuracy and detail.

Our process doesn’t just identify the cause of team productivity problems, it delivers strategies to solve them. By relating the instinctive strengths of team members to the factors that determine group success, we provide managers and leaders with proof-of-improvement metrics for a wide range of group challenges.

Da Vinci will provide your company with insights and bottom-line findings to help leaders:

  • Pinpoint sources of conflict
  • Break through group inertia and organizational paralysis
  • Accommodate differing approaches to problem solving
  • Align team member expectations with supervisor requirements
  • Inventory the collection of instinctive strengths on the team
  • Accomplish more with fewer people
  • Improve individual and group productivity
